On June 29 the Minneapolis Fire Department will conduct a field exercise involving a hypothetical rail emergency in a southwest Minneapolis rail corridor. The City of Minneapolis would like to offer residents the opportunity to observe the exercise. Observation in the field will be preceded by a classroom discussion regarding Incident Command, hazardous materials response, and how information is communicated to the public during an emergency. Residents can attend the classroom portion only, or both. Space is limited and registration is required.
